The
Windsor Terrace Alliance General Meeting
Was Held Tuesday June 8, 2010
at the
Armory YMCA.
Windsor
Farm

On
Sunday March 28, 2010, over 60 volunteers of
all ages showed up carrying shovels, saws, rakes, and spades
to help build Windsor Farm located right next to the Seeley
Street bridge on Prospect Ave. Windsor Terrace residents Tom
and Emma Angotti came up with the idea for this new urban farm
on land they bought years ago. As Tom explains, the farm is
intended to show "how small pieces of land like this (about
5,000 square feet) can contribute to local, healthy alternatives
to the industrial food system."

Applications
must be filled out in person at the Community Board
ten weeks in advance
-
All applications
must include a petition
signed by 51% of the block's residents/merchants
-
$15 certified
check or money order made payable to theNew
York City Department of Finance
-
Include
four 44 cent stamp
Please call Community
Board 7 at (718) 854-0003 if you have any questions.
Additional permit for music (additional fee) must be obtained
from the police precinct.
