portion of 4th Avenue
LC turned the floor to Tom Angotti of Windsor Farms

a CSA system
LC turned the floor over to 39th District Councilman, Brad
Lander.
Brad Lander discussion included:
- the City and State Budgets and the closing of publicly funded
services in the district
- the establishment of the PPW bike lane. A member voiced concern
over traffic. The councilman had received traffic studies from the
DOT stating that the reduction on lanes would not substantially
increase traffic. Once the bike lane is functioning the Councilman
is prepared to do a working review of effectiveness with the DOT.

the Councilman is co-sponsoring a competition for the entire 39th

Patti McDannell introduced Eric Landau and Laura Evans of

a possibility that completion could be delayed by one month.
- There will be a ribbon cutting, dependent on Public Advocate Bill
DeBlasio's schedule, since he secured the funds to renovate the
playground while councilman of the 39th District
- The Wellhouse also received renovation funding and will begin
construction after the playground is complete. It is scheduled to
open next season.
- Prospect Park Alliance has started a "Keep the Charcoal off
the Trees" campaign to mitigate some of the damage of hot coals.
- PM asked if they would consider a similar campaign in regards
to duck feeding at the WT Lakeside. There are no plans for public
signage. Eric Landau said he would contact LC for some wording we
can distribute to WT residents regarding what feed is acceptable
